Another unanimous vote: Chamber approves state contributions to electricity bills from 2026

Luxembourg MPs unanimously approved a roughly €150 million package to subsidise electricity bills in 2026, with the support automatically applied to all household and business bills from January, despite opposition parties warning it is too broad and could weaken incentives to save energy.
